Installing taillight bulbs into a Toyota Corolla is a very simple and direct process. The most challenging part is actually getting to the bulb, and not the replacing of the bulb into the fixture itself. You need to make sure that both taillights are working correctly to be in compliance with state motor vehicle laws.
Instructions
- 1
Open the trunk of the Corolla, and pull off the foam access panel immediately behind the backup lights.
2Twist and pull out the bulb assembly.
3Twist the broken bulb out of the fixture. Recycle the broken bulb.
4Insert the new bulb into the bulb fixture, and twist the entire assembly back into the taillight housing.
5Push the taillight access panel back into place.
