A seal leak about the windows of your automobile can be disappointing. But, it happens to many vehicles, especially with age. The urethane sealant wears down and cracks, causing a leak at the glass edge. First, you need to locate the leak. Then, you can fix it by resealing the leak using fresh urethane sealer.

Run water over the window to locate the area on the window that is leaking.
2Pry up the window seal with a trim removal tool. Wedge the tool underneath the trim and pry it up.
3Clean the glass edge with soap and water with a sponge and dry it with a clean, lint-free towel.
4Apply a bead of urethane sealant to the glass edge and press the window trim down against the urethane sealant.
5Let the urethane cure for 24 hours.
