How to Take Out the Stereo on a 2006 Nissan Altima

The 2006 model year marked the end of the third generation for the mid-sized Nissan Altima sedan. This generation began in 2002 when Nissan eliminated the basic, run-of-the-mill-looking Altima and replaced it with one that had more style and class. The 2006 Altima did not come standard with a stereo system, but had an optional AM-FM stereo with a CD player available. Despite the 2006 Altimas complex-looking dashboard assembly, taking out the stereo is not a tough task and requires only basic tools.
