Holset is the maker of the Turbo line of turbochargers to increase engine performance. Turbochargers compress gas and works by force-induction to provide a greater output of effort by the engine it is connected to. If you have a Holset Turbo installed in your engine you will need to identify it in the event you need to perform service, repair or replacement. The identification process is simple and will only take you a few minutes.

Locate the identification plate on the turbo on the upper tube ending. The plate is a small metal rectangle bolted to the piece.
2Look for the number labeled with the tag "Assy" to find the Assembly/Part number. This is the first number you will need to identify your piece for any service purposes.
3Check the Serial line to find the serial number unique to your hardware. This is the next best way for you to identify your turbocharger.
4Read the line labeled "Cust" to find the customer number assigned by the manufacturer of the engine.
5Refer to the Model line for the model number of your turbocharger. This number identifies the exact frame size and model of your piece.
