Some very intersting stats about apps and ecosystems. I think this shows why Apple, Google, and Microsoft are going full tilt boogie to secure their places--if you can't be first, second place isn't too shabby. The consumer computing world has turned a corner, faster than anyone could have predicted, and knowing these numbers, and the consumer behaviors related to them makes all the difference.
