The 1986 launch of the Pathfinder pushed Nissan into the popular SUV class. The original Pathfinder came only in a two-door model and standard with four-wheel drive, so it provided some competition for Fords Bronco and the full-size Chevy Blazer. The 2001 Pathfinder far more luxurious than its original version came standard with an AM-FM stereo system that played CDs and cassettes. Replacing this radio is straightforward and requires only two tools.
