The 1947 Loadmaster represents the first generation of the General Motors Advance Design series. As with most automotive systems, the vehicle must be properly wired to the battery for the engine to start. The Loadmaster's battery can be found in the engine compartment, and you can easily wire it with a socket wrench in a just few minutes. The Loadmaster uses a 6-volt battery, but you can convert it to use 12-volt batteries, if desired.
Instructions
- 1
Turn off the Loadmaster's engine, and remove the keys from the truck's ignition.
2Lift the Loadmaster's hood and locate the battery.
