ŠKODA Auto India has introduced Ambition variant in the Superb model line. The all new Superb Ambition version will allow greater accessibility to the Superb range. However, while making the model line more accessible, ŠKODA has retained Superb’s class-leading values in safety, comfort and efficiency.
The Ambition variant will be powered by the award winning 1.8 TSI engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and 2.0 TDI CR with 6 speed Automatic DSG transmission. Both engines will aim to provide better fuel efficiency along with enhanced driving experience.
The Ambition boasts of Ivory leather upholstery, wood décor, lounge step, retractable screens for rear windows and rear windscreen, dual zone climatronic, electronically foldable mirrors, 12-way adjustable front seats, class leading eight airbags, corner function with front fog lights, auto dimming interior and external mirror, hydraulic brake assistant, anti slip regulation, traction control system, electronic differential lock, ABS and EBD among other features. Externally, the Ambition is identical to the Elegance but sports a different alloy wheel design. However, SKODA has got rid of quite a few features in the Ambition like the Bi-Xenon projector headlights with retractable washers, electronically stability programme, hill hold control, front parktronic, remote control closing of electric sunroof, keyless entry, audio player with 6.5" LCD TFT colour touchscreen, integrated six CD changer, SD/MMC data card reader, steering mounted audio controls, Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control which are offered in the Elegance variant.

The Ambition has been priced at Rs 17.6 lakhs ex-showroom Maharashtra which is Rs 1.57 lakhs cheaper than the Elegance, which makes the Ambition more affordable.
