If You Can't Beat 'Em, Game the System: Google Needs People Power

Google has the right to close down any Blogger site they want to, but is the automated and game-able complaint system really the way to do it?  I'm sure someone didn't like this guy's blog post and reported it as "offensive". Is this really what it's come to, Google?  You take down various news podcasts from YouTube (e.g. any of Leo Laporte's TWiT network shows) without any notice or timely appeal because of supposed copyright infractions.  It's time to put some humans in the mix to evaluate these complaints.  Maybe you could use Amazon's Mechanical Turk to get you started.
