The 2012 Maruti Desert Storm rally kicked off today from New Delhi and Mahindra’s newest chartbuster, the XUV500 is a part of it. Two XUV500 AWD models have been prepared for this rally and while one will be driven by multiple times INRC champion Gaurav Gill and Musa Sherif, his navigator, the second XUV will be driven by Lohith Urs. Both the XUVs will be competing in the Xtreme category with defending champion Sunny Sidhu driving his Maruti Grand Vitara V6.
