OemCarGps will delve a bit into the theme of Building a Subwoofer Enclosure. You may think it a rather onerous task which involves great effort and work.

But building a subwoofer enclosure is not that complicated and hard as long as you are not afraid to cut wood and feel comfortable using a drill. First go through the material list for how to build a subwoofer enclosure.

-A Sharpie Pen
-Your Subwoofer(s)
-Wood Screw
-A Table Saw (a circular saw will work, but you use it at your own risk)
-A Jig Saw
-Liquid Nails
-Two Sheets of MDF Wood
-A Measuring Tape
-A Hand Drill
-A Compass

Step 1
Have a look at your trunk and see how much room you can make use of. Not much bass can be made if a simple and small enclosure is built. But it is necessary for you keep the majority of your trunk space for other purposes in the future. So you have to make the decision on how much room you are going to take up with thoughtful consideration.

The 2 twelve inch subwoofers are what we think is suitable and can be best enjoyed. Use the tape to measure your trunk and make notice of every angle from the floor to the bottom of your rear window, the curve from your rear window to the trunk latch, from the back seat to the rear of the trunk and so on. Be careful and no place can be left. In the case of the 2 twelve subwoofers, you will want your Enclosure or Box to take up as much space as you are allowed to in your trunk.

Make sure that measure in a few inches of finger and hand space should you ever have to get the box back out of the vehicle.

Step 2
Measure your wood. Make a piece first which will fit the floor of the trunk, a piece to go on the back of the Enclosure, a piece that will go across the top of the Box and two side pieces. If you have measured precisely and correctly, then this should be a breeze. Just cut, then label and finally put them to the side.

Measure and cut a Face piece. After cutting, grab your speakers. Position them on the front side of the board and trace the outside of the woofer onto the wood using Sharpie Pen. Take out the speaker, remove your Compass and trace another circle about an inch inside the first circle your traced. Take out your Jig Saw and cut the inside circles out. Now there are two great holes in your Face board.

Surely after going through the steps above, you make it and master how to build a subwoofer enclosure.
