how to install 2008 honda accord stereo radio system

Do you have a 2008 Honda Accord? if it is.there are reasons to install your own car stereo system.first, if you are on a tight budget and would like to save possibly hundreds of dollars on installation costs and second, if you would like to customize your car stereo system installation. Either way, it is easier than ever to install car stereo system in Honda Accord 2008 and here are some tips.

Blow is a description as to how to install car stereo system in a Honda Accord 2008. It is based on my own experience, my mistakes and my strong points.


1.Use plastic knife to loosen the decorated bar.

2. Take out the decorated bar with hands.

3. Use plastic knife to loosen the decorated bar.

4. Take out the decorated bar with hands.

5. Loosen the fixed screws of the factory main unit.

6. Same as step 5.

7. After remove the screws, loosen the main unit with hands.

8. Remove the power connector of factory main unit.

9. Take out the factory main unit.

10. Loosen the two screws of factory screen.

11. Take out the frame of factory screen.

12. Loosen the fixed screws of factory screen.

13. Take out the factory screen.

14. Remove the screws of screen bracket.

15. Take out the screen bracket.

16. Take out the factory screen from the frame.

17. Remove the back screws of the DVD main unit.

18. Take out the frame of the DVD main unit.

19. Install the factory screen to the frame of the DVD main unit.

20. Install the factory screen to the DVD main unit.

21. Fix the back screws of the DVD main unit.

22. Pass the special cables to the place of the factory screen from underneath.

23. Pass the special cables to the place of factory screen from underneath.

24. Connect the factory cables to the special cables.

25. Same as step 24.

26. Arrange the IPOD connector; upgrade connector and USB disk connector.

27. Fix the bracket of screen.

28. Connect the factory screen cables to the special cables.

29. Connect the screen power connector and blue tooth microphone cable.

30. Install the screen.

31. Fix the screen with screws.

32. Install the frame of screen.

33. Fix the frame with screws.

34. Connect the connector of the special cables.

35. Connect the power connector of factory screen.

36. Install the DVD main unit.

37. Fix the DVD main unit with screws.

38. Connect the connector of the factory main unit.

39. Install the factory main unit.

40. Fix the factory main unit with screws.

41. Install the decorated bar.

42. Same as step 40, fix the factory main unit with screws.

43. Install the decorated bar.
