How to Install Car DVD GPS unit on Benz C200

28 Steps installation guide.

step 1:Center console

step 2:Open the removable cover of the factory monitor, lift the outlet with plastic scraper.(Mind the dash in position against it.)

step 3:Slide out the outlets. (Unplug all the connectors exposed.)

step 4:Remove the screws used to fix the factory headunit and monitor. (Keep the screws removed.)

step 5:Remove the factory monitor.

step 6:Unplug all the connectors behind the factory monitor.

step 7:Remove the center console behind the monitor and the outlets.

step 8: Factory monitor removed.

step 9:Remove the screws used to fix the bracket, then remove the bracket.

step 10:Slide out the factory monitor.

step 11:new monitor for new headunit

step 12:Put the new monitor into the place of factory monitor.

step 13:Latch the plug.

step 14:Effect after the above process

step 15:Remove the factory headunit. (Be careful with the left & right latch. )

step 16:Unplug the power wire of the factory headunit, insert the plug of the power wire for the new headunit.

step 17:Insert the plug of the factory power wire into the other end of the new power wire, then put it in the place as shown in the picture, prevent the interference behind the headunit.

step 18:Lead out the other end of the power wire for new headunit through the place as shown in the picture.

step 19:Mount back factory headunit.

step 20:Put the connectors of new headunit through the place as shown in the picture to the glove box on passenger’s side. (remove the rectangular gel slug)
