All New Audi A7 Sports launched. Its an elegant fusion of a luxurious sedan with the body styling of a coupe and the spacious feel of any estate. The new Audi A7 Sportsback is now available at Audi dealerships across India from Rs 6,400,000 onwards (ex showroom Delhi)
In line with its top down strategy for India, premium luxury car maker Audi continues its strategic model expansion with the launch of its new Audi A7 Sportsback. However, unlike its conventional luxury sedans all over the world, the new Sportsback breaks the shackles of conventional design seen in most Audi passenger cars as it incorporates the combined strengths of a coupe, a sedan and an avant in a highly attractive concept, which truly symbolizes the car maker’s progressiveness.
Powering the aesthetically sculpted body of the new A7 Sportsback is a 3.0 TDI V6 engine, which produces 500 Nm of torque at 1400 - 3250 rpm and 245 hp at 4000 - 4500 rpm. S tronic and Quattro drive are standard with this engine, and 0 to 100 km/h can be achieved in just 6.3 seconds, which is impressive for a car that primarily represents a premium sedan class. A top speed limited to 250 km/h is compensated with the A7’s fuel efficiency, which on average consumes just 6.0 liters of fuel per 100 km.
Speaking at the launch of the new Audi A7 Sportsback, Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India said, “The introduction of the new Audi A7 Sportback in India reiterates our unwavering commitment to offer the discerning Indian customer with products of highest technical perfection and design finesse. With its sporty driving qualities combined with impressive efficiency, I am confident that the all new Audi A7 Sportback will set a benchmark for style, performance, progressiveness and luxury in its segment.”
The interiors of the Sportsback have been carefully crafted and use top class materials such as layered wood veneers, and an optional ambient lighting system. The front seats are available with optional ventilation and massage functions.
Measuring 4.97 meters in length, 1.91 meters in width and just 1.42 meters in height, the new A7 Sportsback has the just the sort of proportions you would expect from a car that has the makings of becoming a multipurpose automobile in India.
Winner of the “Auto Bild” Design Summit 2011 for its outstanding design, the new five-door coupé from Audi is on offer from Rs 6,400,000 onwards (ex showroom Delhi).
