Biggest TV in the World - Panasonic 152 inch Plasma TV

Panasonic introduced a 152 inch HDTV with 4K resolution way back in 2008. The largest HDTV of the world was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). However, the flagship of Panasonic's VIERA line, this big TV didn't make its way into the market.

On September 22, 2008, Panasonic’s 152-inch VIERA Plasma — the world’s largest HDTV — was exhibited at Panasonic’s Secaucus warehouse. Employees were invited for the first time to experience the revolutionary prototype.

This gigantic flat screen TV stands 11-feet wide and 6-feet tall. The screen, at 16:9 ratio, has 9606.45 square inches. This 1080p big screen HDTV features 4096 x 2160 resolution, and it’s supposedly energy efficient, at least as energy efficient as a plasma TV of this size can be. You can get video calls and use some apps in this huge TV.
The world's biggest Plasma HDTV is so big that it will be covering the whole wall of your room. You'd have to sit pretty far away from the TV to get the proper view. Its cool and sad, at the same time.
