Kicking off both the Fall fashion season and New York Fashion Week, FNO, or Fashion's Night Out, took over the world last Friday! (Well, at least the fashion world.) Created by Vogue Editor-in-Chief/HBIC Anna Wintour in 2009 as a way to celebrate fashion and encourage shopping in New York City, this year the party went global with FNO parties popping up in cities around the world. Never one to pass up shopping or a party, I checked in at The Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables for some local FNO fun with two very well-dressed friends. My look was leather & lace—two huge trends for the fall. I love the juxtaposition of the tough leather with the sweet lace. Topped off with extra heavy black eyeliner and messy waves, I felt like a total fashionista rock star.
