Raise your Hyundai Santa Fe rear wheels in the air using your jack and support both rear wheels with your jack stands.
2Move the parking brake lever up one click or notch. Locate the parking brake lever on the inside of your Hyundai Santa Fe between the drivers sear and the front passenger seat.
3Remove the center floor console around the parking brake lever. Use your screwdriver to remove the screws holding the console down.
4Tighten the adjuster nut found at the end of the parking brake cable rod. Move the rear wheels and verify the rear wheels have a slight resistance after the adjustment.
5Release the parking brake fully to the floor of the Hyundai Santa Fe and verify the rear wheels are able to turn freely around.
6Pull up on the parking brake lever to the upright position and verify the rear wheels do not move.
7Replace the center console cover with your screwdriver. Lower your Hyundai Santa Fe using the jack and remove the jack stands from the rear wheels.
