The Case Study "Alpine" series bed by Modernica




Designed by Jay Novak, uses structural bent laminated wood. The wood used in crafting the bed is multi-layered, top to bottom construction, twenty-two layers to be exact. Consisting of twenty structural plys of beech wood that are 1 1/8” thick and a top and bottom of North American Walnut veneer. The mattress supports are 100% recycled material (particle board) which is powder coated to create a permanent barrier. The platform is crafted with perforated holes to allow a mattress to breath.
The bed platform is built to take an 8” to 10” mattress. No box spring is required.
The Case Study Alpine series is available only as a Queen Bed at this time.
