A new Google Competitor CUIL.COM arrived

They officially announced their services at 28-July-2008. 28 July was first official day for new Search Engine like Google.com. They claim that they indexed pages more than Google but I don't think so that they indexed pages more than Google. I personally test that few web sites are not indexed by CUIL but are indexed by GOOGLE.Google Competitor CUIL com arrived
CUIL is pronounced as "cool". I think it is first time that some one will give hard time to Google. They are working like giants and look at their higher management.

He also joined CUIL from Google. He was leading design of Google. He also worked at AltaVista (CTO Founder), eBay (Advanced Technology Lab) and launched BabelFish (Frist machine translation site). Has has Phd in Mathemetics and Computer Scienes from Paris Orsay.

Vince Sollitto (Vice President of Communication)
He is serving as VP of Corporate Communication and External Affairs at PayPal where he directed public, investor and government relations from the beginning of company services. He also served communication director to United State Senator. He was sopkesman for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Pete Szymanski (General Counsel)
He was formerly an attorney for seven years in the Silicon Valley office of Cooley Godward Kronish where he specialized in assisting emerging growth companies. Pete is also a cofounder of Optimaret, a technology company focused on optimizing auctions for pay-per-click search advertising and a member of the Board of Directors of Full Circle Fund, a philanthropy organization focused on driving environmental, educational, economic development and technology change. He received a JD from Duke University School of Law and an MBA and BS.

Bruce Baumgart (Head of Operations)
He was formerly at the Internet Archive and he helped design, build and run petabyte clusters, Amsterdam and Egypt. Previously at IBM Almaden Research Center he managed clusters for the WebFountain project. Bruce was the founder and CEO of Softix for 10 years, a global ticketing software business. Bruce worked on mass document storage at Xerox PARC, mobile robotics with Yaskawa and he participated on a DARPA challenge robot vehicle with Team Overbot. Bruce received a PhD from Stanford University in Computer Science for work at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Lab.

You can see the team of CUIL. The question comes in the mind that can CUIL beat Google in future? Let see what happend. I am sure they will introduced their email service and ad program like Google Adsense.
