I hope had a pleasant weekend and welcome happy Monday! I wanted to share with you this lovely book which happens to be called, "Monday
" by Anne Herbauts. Remember me talking about her other illustrated books here? This book is very creative, sharing multiple art techniques within. From the artful illustrations and painting to the cutout cover, and raised patterned impressions of characters and snowstorm. The seasonal poetic-like storyline also mimics the multiple changes in paper weight from heavy to light. This book is both quirky and charming and my toddler likes the colorful and tactile sensibilities.
