Answer: It's important to set up security on your wireless home network. Once you understand the basics, it's easy.
Wireless routers and access points come with a factory set default password. Each manufacturer has one. The Linksys by Cisco default password is "admin". Unfortunately, computer hackers know these defaults and will try to access your wireless network and change your settings. So, it's important that you change this default password.
