TAGAN INTRODUCES STONEROCK SERIES PSU
Nanopoint Technology Inc., a manufacturer of power supply units (also called SMPS), mobile and data storage enclosures, PC accessories and peripherals, today announced the TAGAN StoneRock series Power Supply in India. It is available in two models, TG500-U37 and TG600-U37.  This power supply unit comes with inbuilt two independent +12V rails to meet graphic card power configuration of high end cards.

PRIVACY LOBBY SLAMS GOOGLE LATITUDE
Google Latitude, which uses GPS to allow you to track people from your mobile phone or desktop PC, is under fire from privacy campaigners. They say that Google Latitude could be used to spy on unsuspecting users.Latitude is a free tool that works from smartphones and PCs. With Latitude installed, users can use GPS and Google Maps to track other friends who are using the service. Crucially, to be tracked, people have to sign up for Google Latitude.

WINDOWS 7 STARTER EDITION
Microsoft's plans for Windows 7 could be setting up the company for a consumer backlash similar to what it has faced with Vista. The issue, said Michael Silver of Gartner Inc., revolves around the Starter Edition of Windows 7. "A lot of people could be disappointed with Starter if they weren't aware of its limitations," said Silver. "There's a danger, I think, of people buying it, and then getting shocked when the fourth app won't run."

Iomega announced the worldwide launch of the Iomega StorCenter Pro ix4-100. The StorCenter Pro is based on enterprise-class EMC storage technology, and can provide small businesses and remote offices with up to 4TB of networked storage. INTEL NOW SHIPPING ATOM N280 PROCESSOR
Intel confirmed on Thursday that it's shipping the Atom N280 processor to PC makers, which should bring more performance and improved graphics capabilities to netbooks. The new single-core Atom processor is paired with a chipset that allows users to watch high-definition content on netbooks while drawing less power. The GN40 chipset includes a hardware-based high-definition video decoder that allows users to watch 720p HD video content.
