New Product: SAMSUNG LAUNCHES 22-inch LCD TV WITH IN-BUILT FM
Samsung today announced the launch of its first slim and stylish FM enabled LCD TV in the 22" screen size - Samsung Series 4 - LA22A480. When used in FM radio mode, it automatically goes into power saving mode after 10 minutes, switching off the display but keeping the FM running. Its dynamic contrast ratio reads a figure of 10,000:1, the sound output is 15Wx2 Watt (rms).

New Product: MSI WIND NETON AP1900 TAKES ON ASUS EEETOP
MSI today announced the Wind NetOn AP1900 in AIO (All in One) family. The press release claims the AP1900 is the world's slimmest AIO PC design with a width of just 35mm. It is based on the Intel Atom CPU which reduces power consumption and offers enough performance for everyday computing. The AP1900 can be adjusted back and forth from 5° to 15° depending on user preference.

MOTOROLA ANNOUNCES THREE NEW PHONES FOR INDIA
Motorola today announced its plans for a range of products for India - MOTOROKR EM35, MOTO VE66, and MOTOSURF A3000. The ROKR EM35 is a music player with a full suite of dedicated keys to easily launch and control music. The MOTO VE66 offers a 5-megapixel camera and MP3 player-like navigation, while the MOTOSURF A3000 offers tablet features. These phones are expected to be available in India in Q1 2009.

FREE WINDOWS 7 UPGRADES FOR NEW VISTA PCS ?
Microsoft plans to give away free Windows 7 upgrades to people buying PCs with Windows Vista until as late as January 31 of next year, according to a a report from Malaysian blog TechARP.com. The website has correctly predicted similar Microsoft schemes in the past, and the newest claim suggests Microsoft plans to release Windows 7 before year's end, said Matt Rosoff, an analyst with an independent research firm.

REPORT: NOKIA TO SLASH MOBILE PHONE PRODUCTION
Nokia has announced it will reduce production of mobile phones due to falling demand. Sales of mobile phones are expected to fall this year as the credit crunch reduces the amount of disposable income consumers have to spend on gadgets and technology. Nokia said the move will take place at its plant in Sao, Finland, would save around €700m.
