Fourth Patent Issued for Symantec Software Virtualization Technology  On Dec. 2, the US Patent and Trademark Office issued US patent #7,461,096, "Weighted prioritizing layered computing system." This is the fourth patent issued around the Fortress layering technology acquired with FSLogic by Altiris in early 2004. Using Workflow as a Self Service Point for Your Users!  What should be a good reason to install the Altiris Workflow Solution? There are several correct answers to this question. But the best business case is where you use the Workflow Solution to perform tasks for you. This can be from generating accounts, to generating reports for your management. Before every semester I reimage all of the computers the students will be using. This semester I decided to jump feet first into software virtualization.
