Yes we have MapmyIndia, google maps,Yahoo maps,Nokia and a few others but none so far that have come factory fitted from the car manufacturers on your dashboard.
Well all that is about to changeVolvo india has decided to satnav on its cars which is called Road Traffic Information [RTI] by Volvo. The downside is you will have to shell out an additional Rs.1.5 lakhs for the system.Something I am sure somebody going in for a Volvo could definitely afford but definitely not meant for the mainstream market car.
However it is a start atleast and who knows maybe one day Maruti would give you Satnav in your car.
