Toyota slips to seventh postion in Indian automobile Marketshare

Here's an area where GM has just overtaken Toyota.In the Indian market Toyota has now slipped to seventh position with GM recently overtaking it and taking the sixth postion.This news was revealed by GM at the Launch of the Captiva SUV during the Auto expo in Delhi.The Captiva Suv would be available from Rs.17.74 Lakhs onwards.

This years Auto Expo clearly shows the interest Toyota has with the Indian market with almost every manufacturer interested in going trying to go one up with a number of new launches and concepts for India .All except Toyota have made an effort to make a name for themselves at the Auto Expo. Where is Toyota?

Toyota clearly disrespects the Indian Auto show and this is not a very good sign from the supposedly largest[or soon to be] manufacturer in the World.
