On the one hand, a touch-sensitive table/monitor has some appeal (and perhaps a niche audience), however, isn't this just a bigger and less maneuverable version of the iphone's touch screen? I don't know if this will be any more successful than last year's failed
Origami project, but it looks interesting initially. Perhaps Uncle Bill figured that if people weren't interested in micro PCs, they might just love massive monitors.
My final thought: In the end, if you can't tip it up and watch a movie on it, who will use it?
