Here we have a young designer with some great ideas and products. Coming from Studio Campana (yes, the Campana Brothers) he learned really quickly how to make a product tell a story and idea or a concept, to merge humour with function and add boldness and uniqueness to everyday objetcs.Please take a look at these 2 great designs:
Carpet-lounge
Thin Mdf boards attached with zippers, inside the bags at the carpet, become a retractable structure, easy to set up with Velcro ends. Your every day and under estimated carpet, might become the life of the party, when you push the coffee-table to the corner and set up your Carpet-lounge for your friends to chill out. Three back suports (armchair like angles) and two chaise-longues, your sofa is not enough!
Dedos
"Dedos", meaning fingers in Portuguese, is a rather simple glass design that can give our daily newspaper reading a bit more style. Basically the only change was to put the handle on the inside of the glass, so it allows you to hold the glass in a new way. It feels like a part of you! Following the same line I designed a shoot glass, well it came to me that this is the kind of drink you might need a better grip when having it.
