Modern Fan

Right now, we have one of those "Hunter" ceiling fans that does quite it's job but it's starting to get noisy and the pull chain is really annoying... Enter the Cirrus.
Modern Fan Company Cirrus Hugger Ceiling Fan
The Cirrus/Hugger compresses power and design into a small efficient package. The Cirrus/ Hugger was introduced in 1999 to accommodate low ceiling situations. This is the fan to use in apartments with low ceilings. For instance, this is our best seller into New York City. The Cirrus body has been joined with a new canopy to give a 13" overall height with the blades 7" from the ceiling. The Cirrus/ Hugger does not have any slope ceiling capabilities, however, all other specifications and options are shared with the Cirrus.
The Cirrus Hugger is all die-cast aluminum and offered in a gloss white and hand brushed aluminum finish. The balanced blades are either injection molded acrylic or standard plywood laminate.

The motor is a high power silicon steel unit with 18 poles, designed for long life and cool running, and is controlled by two capacitors. The Cirrus motor can run at any of three speeds set by the control. The Modern Fan Company offers several switching and control options for both speed and light control. Please see the controls section. All Modern Fan Co. products carry a damp location UL/CUL listing.

The Cirrus/Hugger is available in a 13" drop and with a 42", 50" or 52" blade span (the diameter of the body is 6" at the point where the blade enters the rotor).
