Google started to show related searches at the bottom of search results pages. Most of these related searches (Google prefers the term "broad revisions") expand the query and are useful if your query is too general or ambiguous. You'll see them if you search for country names, concepts (like
philosophy), technologies (e.g:
SOAP), polysemantic words (
bass).
Unlike Live Search or Ask.com, Google places the refinements at the bottom of the first results page, where people go to the next page of results or edit the query.
