A Veritable Cornucopia of Desktop Searching

Now, I've been using the Google Desktop Search since it's release, but I've always hated to put all my eggs in one basket. I've also been a long-time fan of Copernic and used their various search tools over the years (they still have an FREE enterprise level internal server search for indexing under 5000 files). I know Google is the King of the Search Engine Hill, but I'm trying the new Copernic Desktop Search. For one, it integrated into my taskbar (which the Google Desktop Search does not). I also like the way it looks when you search for images, music, documents, etc. At this point, I'll be comparing features, speed, and overall performance between Copernic and Google and eventually I let you know who wins over my desktop searching.

NOTE: If you're willing to try out even more desktop search tools check out the new blinkx desktop search tool as well.
